Got a new carb
bought a 4777 4150 double pumper 650 cfm
im pretty excited, im hoping ill be able to quickly floor the pedal now without it bogging under 3500 rpm
any of you have suggestions as far as initial setup goes? Jet sizes, pump squirters, p.v. etc?
right now my edelbrock carb is maxxed on pump shot and still not enough, squirter is .045
primary jets are 101 with 75/37 rods secondary jet is 98
the engine is a 305 .030 over with a torker II single plane, 214/224, half inch lift, 10:1 cr, #416 heads ported and polished
t5 tranny, 3.89 gears

btw the primaries and secondaries dont look like they are anywhere near opening all the way. The edelbrock was better out of the box as far as that is concerned

650 double pumper, 82 sec. and 75 pri. jets. 35 pri and 31 sec. squirters, 6,5" powervalve and way to lean at part throttle... im pulling ~ 14" vacuum at idle so i think ill have to use a higher PV.
