Is this the only way to hook up a TV cable correctly to an edelbrock carburetor?

Axle/Gears: GM Axles and GM 3.73
Is this the only way to hook up a TV cable correctly to an edelbrock carburetor?
i have a 1407 and i WANTED to put it on my car....but i didnt know that it would cost 100 bucks for the kit to retrofit the tv cable to work
anyone know of any other ways?

Of course it's not the only way. It looks like a good way, though, that takes care of the geometry issues that most people don't consider.

You can do it any way you want, as long as the geometry is correct when you're finished.

yea i was talking to a guy that i work with and he was saying that he has done it b4 and that he would help me out if i needed....said that edelbrock should have some kinda bracket for it too...soo im gonna try to get a hold of them to find out.....thanks for the replies......
