non cc carb help

I am swapping an lg4 305 into my v6 car. I got the engine in and now I need some advice on exactly which arb to get. Five7kid told me to get a double pumper or stick with a q-jet. I have been reading up on them alot and still can't decide what would be best for me. I want something that will be easy to install. I am not running a computer and already have a non cc dizzy installed. I have heard that holleys require a lot of tuning as the weather changes. Don't know much about demons exept they are supposedly better built. What about a non cc q-jet? I want to have hookups for pcv, power brakes, vacume advance dizzy, and if possible the EVAP system (I think it's called that, the thing with the charcoal canister for fuel). I will take reliability over performance as it will be a daily driver. Here is what I have narrowed it down to:

please let me know what you think, Thanks.

To clairify, I didn't "tell" you to get a DP, I suggested that was the only reasonable aftermarket replacement to the q-jet since you have a manual transmission.

Having said that, the links you posted show good search effort. The q-jet would be a good choice for a q-jet, the Demon vs. Holley is mostly a question of how much you're willing to spend in order to have a Demon.

I'm not sure where all this talk about Holleys needing constant tuning comes from. The only tuning I've done on mine is when I've made a major altitude change (5800' to sea level). Even then, it "ran", i.e., I drove it around, before I made the jet changes.

That particular Demon is interesting, as it appears he's added the choke (they don't normally come with that). I'm not too impressed with his fuel line, but I suppose it's functional.

My vote would be on a non-cc qjet. You aren't gaining much to buy a much more expensive carb like a holley (compared to the q-jet), and you can spend the extra $300 on a more useful performance gain, like headers or something.
And parts for a q-jet are easy to obtain etc, and the fuel mileage is better etc...

I think I'll take your advice about the non-cc q-jet. I was talking to a guy at work about it and he said he has one in good condition that he'd give to me for $50 and he'll help me tune it. So I'll just get that one and rebuild it myself. I think it will be easier and cheaper to do this then to get an aftermarket one and spend more money on making it fit on my intake. Thanks for all the help.
