quad jet question

ok when i tap the gas peddle my car sounds like it is going to choke out but soon as i let go it goes back to ideling fine any comments or help would be greatly apretiated

Check the fuel delivery at the carb. I would think it's either not enough fuel getting to your carb, or a problem with the accelerator pump.

Sounds to me like they did something wrong, like forget the pump discharge check ball.
