Transmission: 700r4
which carb to choose ????

I need a new carb for my trans am. I would like your opinion on these two models


edelbrock edl-1405 600cfm vac secondaries

holley model 4160 600cfm vac secondaries


I have a lg4 stock with an edelbrock intake manifold
I have no emissions crap on the car

thanks





please no debate on why im replacing the quadrajet

The 4160 works good for me - simple to tune and set up. Can't say that the Edelbrock is not as easy, but I've never tried it so can only speak for the Holley.

A stock Q-jet would be perfect but you don't WANT that. Anywho...no debating from me. If I had to buy a name for the sake of having a name, i.e. Holley in this case, I might look into a 650 spreadbore or possibly the 650 spreadbore dp.
