Carb to Intake Gasket?
I have a edelbrock divided square bore heat insluated gasket on a manifold that accepts both square and spreadbore carbs. My carb is a Holley 4777. Is this ok? Or should I also use the metal plate that edelbrock sells for this setup?
I'm curious also to see what all you carb guys are running for gaskets inbetween carb and intake. I need to run the thicker gasket for the power brake booster set up behind the carb. I bought the low elbow but still needs some lift.

I've always done it that way with no problems. The thicker gasket is probably better since it gives the carb more insulation from the heat of the intake.
