K&N Air Filters, any improvements?

Any body used or cureently using these filters on their carbed engines? If so have you guy's noticed any big differences in comparison to stock filter elements? Thanks.

I put a k&N on mine. I didn't notice much of a difference in power. But i do get slightly better gas mileage (about +1 mpg)
