Should i make adjustments to new edelbrock carb

I have recently completed my TBI to Carb swapped and i finally getting her up and running right. Im running an edelbrock 1406 carb brand new and i was wondering if i should make any adjustments to it as far as the choke, floats and metering rods or anything else. basically what im wondering is if there built ready to use on any setup right out of the box

No carb comes tuned for your car out of the box. Usually they'll be set up sothat the cra will at least start and run, but they always need tuning.

Always check the floats before you install the carb. They're set from the factory, but bouncing around during shipping can change things. The only way to know what jetting you'll need is to run the carb with the factory setup, see if it's rich or lean, and go from there. The Edelbrock manual covers the whole process pretty well.
