question on fuel system setup???

I got the return style carter pump for my carb'd 406 swap and had a question do I still need a regulator. I can't remember the carter number on the pump but my 87 iroc was originally cc carb anyway so it has the booster pump in tank do I need a regulator? motor is kinda mild in my opinion but will need all the fuel it can get. I will still be running the in tank booster also.

(400 sbc +.030, stock rods and crank, bowtie phase 2 heads 2.02/1.6, 10.14 hyperutectic pistons, edelbrock rpm air gap intake, 4777 (650) Holley) also anybody have any recommendations or advice on the tranny I will still be running the stock 700r4 and not sure what the rearend gears are? anyone know what an 87 with cc carb'd 305 would have? also the line on the driver side (small one) is just a vent line, right? Thanks in advance for replies.

Should be ready to roll.

I'm using that pump currently. But, I don't have the in-tank electric.
