Fuel line

I want to install a carb spacer I have. If I install it though, the fuel line that goes into the carb/fuel filter will be too short and wont reach. I have the stock q-jet carb. Where can I get a replacement fuel line? Im not sure what size I would need also.

Also would it be better to start using an inline fuel filter?

Using an inline fuel filter is a good idea. Just don't use a plastic one. When you put hose in place of the metal tube, resist the temptation of hacksawing off the ends of the tubing and using them instead of barb fittings. A 3/8" stream of gas will make an inferno of a fire.

Does anyone know the size of the fitting I will need for the fuel pump? This fitting should work for my q-jet right?

Fuel inlet fitting to line

Braided line

Aeroquip has a kit that includes all the fittings and hose-ends and hose to run from the pump to the carb, it should be a little less expensive than buying everything individually. You could just add two more hose-ends and a filter.
