Hey I was just wondering if anyone knew which way to go when changing the step up springs. My car is puffing black smoke and popping a little. Any help would be great.. thanks my car has a torquer manafold and a 1406 edelbrock carb sitting on a stock z28 305... Thanks

 

if too rich, try a lighter springs..

for a test only, try taking the springs out,
and tell us what happems.
