Carb tuning tools
Im looking for a good source of some cheap but reliable carb tools for my quadrajet.
1. dwell meter- where can i get an easy to use, easy to read dwell meter without spending alot of cash.
2. float level gauge.
3. idle mixture tool- the special little screwdriver that fits our rochester idle adjusters
4. vacuum gauge-...now this one i can find, but whats a good style and range of reading.
any other tools that are esential in carb tuning that arent in the common toolbox?

1. dunno
2. the absolute most accurate way to do this, is to turn the carb upside down, and hold the float in place at the pivot point, then measure it with the little cardboard 90* ruler in the carb rebuilt kit. "Press lightly down" is too hard for me to comprehend, but gravity is pretty accurate.
3. the funny screwdriver should be sold as a "carb adjusting screwdriver set", with other bits for other carbs in it. $5-20 or so.
4. my vacuum gauge goes from 10psi positive to 24" hg... (I think that's right, since positive pressure isn't measured in " hg I don't think...) you can use it for vacuum testing, ie setting up your carb etc, and fuel pressure I think. (carb only).
A set of torx bits were handy for me (duh), and some needle nose pliers (small)....

I did a search on eBay motors for "dwell meter" (match exact phrase only) and got around 40 legit hits.
