Carb full of fuel?? HELP!!
Well.. I was driving home from my brother house, and my car started running really rough.. so i pulled over, and i had to keep my foot on the gas to keep it running. So then i was going to turn around to go back to my bros house, to see if we could fix it. But my car stalled out, and i popped the hood, took the air cleaner off, lookied down into the carb, to my surprise, the thing is full of fuel!! The Primaries are loaded with gas, the down vent tube is full of gas, and the vacuum lines are full of gas! What do you guys think happened? Im soo lost.. I think maybe the float got stuck open, becasue we put a new fuel filter, and maybe sumtin got in there.

Probably got some debris caught in the float needle/seat.

Yeah.. I think thats what it was. I just got it fixed!! I took the fuel inlet out, and used compressed air up in there, started the engine, runs fine!

that might be a temporay fix depending on what is going on.. but it would certainly deal with the needle and seat for the fuel inlet.. after a while too they get sticky... and need to be changed.. but that is after some use
