Remote Start?

Hey all. I'm going to be installing a Holly Supercharger 750 double pumper carb on my Camaro. Now, i havn't worked with too may carbs, but it usually takes WOT and mabey like 2 or 3 seconds to kick over (followed by 'slight' pedal pressure)...... if this is normal, does anyone know of a remote start system that can be made to work like this?

I'm thinking i'd have to install a seperate timed actuator to pull cable to WOT, and then i dunno about ide. ....but mabey my car just is not tuned right, and this isn't the issue at all... lol...

really... how so.. i have gone from no choke edelcrap to a E-choke demon ( i know better design) but the demon starts in like 1/2 a crank to 1 full crank with the choke properly set up.... the only trouble im having is adjusting the fast idle due to its location... :\

My old Q-Jet and also my Edelbrock 1405 converted to electric choke would start without touching the pedal if it had only been sitting overnight or a couple of days. Get it to where it will light right off, without touching the pedal, and you can remote start it. Look into a unit with a tach feed. That will let the unit try to start the car 3 times, it looks for engine rpm, if it stalls, it will restart the engine. Mine gives 3 attempts before it gives up. Mine always fired on the 1st time, even with a carb. I have TBI now so I don't have to worry about it.

Get a remote start kit with a throttle kicker for carbureted engines.
