fuel pump question
the fuel pump that bolts on to the block is that suppost to have 2 bolts or 4 bolts...I have a 1988 block and i'm going to run a mechical fuel pump.
As I need to have the fuel pick up installed. i'm goign to do that myself...auto or anyone else for that matter doesn't sell it...does anyone know where i could get one...besides the junk yard....
PLEASE GIVE ME REAL ANSWERS...lately i've been posted stuff and i'm getting the dumbest feedback
thanks

The fuel pump itself is held in with 2 bolts the plate under it is held in with 4 thats including the two holding down the pump.
For the pick up.. did you try your local gm dealer or a napa? Try online too from gmpartsdirect website.
not sure what cam you have aftermarket or stock but make sure it has a lobe for the fuel pump push rod. if your going from efi to carb you need to check that first before buying a fuel pump.
