Do I need the choke on my holley?
I fully dismantled my 670 Street Avenger for cleaning and new gaskets. Now that I'm getting ready to put it back together, I'm wondering if there would be any increase in air flow/HP if I did not re-install the choke plate/shaft.
The car is only driven in warm weather but I do like to start it up occassionally during the winter to circulate the oil.
I would not be removing the choke horn, just leaving off the choke components.
Any comments?

Keep it on. The detriment of not having it will be greater than the benefits in your case.
