Follow-up Q [jet]
I have not smelled a single hydrocarbon molecule since finally straightening this lean-burn system out, about 1 1/2 weeks ago.
My question is, 'Why are my tailpipes still coated with soot?' I did wash out the last few inches of each with carb cleaner, last week. Is there that much s**t left in the exhaust? Or in the engine?
Since the cat is catting
, then the mixture is obviously lean.
Thank You Again,
Seth
