Using both the pickup and return lines to feed external pump
I'm close to the limit of the 3/8" factory pickup. Has anyone ever tried using both the factory pickup AND return lines to feed an external electric pump? The return line pours fuel when uncapped, so there's definitely a gravity feed there.

Just bite the bullet and step up to a bigger feed line. The return line dumps fuel into the tank from the top, there is no pickup that goes to the bottom other than the feed line.
