Quick question about carbs...

Transmission: T-56
Axle/Gears: 10-Bolt w/3.08's (dying)
Quick question about carbs...
I'm currently changing over to a carb set-up on my previously tpi 305. I have to get the car home from school and carb is the easiest route to go. I was wondering if changing fuel pump from FI to Carb is a necesity. Would i just be able to use fuel pump and just get an AFPR for a carb and call it a day? Or will i have to drop the tank and swap fuel pumps?
