Soundes like the TVS Purge valve. If so the top hose goes the the Vapor Canister.Lower hose tp the canister control valve(just in front of thf TVS valve). These hose are about 1/2in dia.

The TVS for the purge valve is located in the manifold near the water neck. There is another TVS (thermal vaccuum switch) in the water neck that controls the EFE (early fuel evaporation) system. It closes a valve in the pass side exhaust where the manifold and y-pipe meet that forces exhaust gas through intake manifold passages to warm incoming charge and aid cold weather operation. The vaccuum source for the EFE valve is a tee in the air pump vaccuum system.
