Code 15- coolant temperature sensor
I just wanted to give everyone a heads up in here since most of the code 15 threads that I searched were for TPI. I was getting a code 15. I didn't have a multimeter(really should get one) to test anything so I went ahead and ordered a new CTS from Dal at VanDeveer Olds(great guy). I wanted to get the pigtail connector as well since mine had a small crack in it but was told that was discontinued. After I installed the new CTS and cleared all the codes from the ecm it started throwing code 15 again so it was the electrical connector. I found that NAPA has this part under TSC200 for $10. So if anyone gets this code and your connector or wireing looks sketchy like mine did a trip to NAPA might save you from buying a sensor you don't need.
Yeah, you can still buy all those weatherpack/ECM connectors aftermarket from a specialty electrical connector supplier. Most good auto shops have such a catalog and can order them for you. Most often I buy new connectors for the electrical choke hookup- they're almost always mangled on QJet cars.

85t/alover turned me onto the fact that O'Reilly's sells the CTS with the pigtail for $13. It's a Borg-Warner part. A little pricier than the connector alone you got from NAPA, but if you need a CTS...
Searching their catalog the other day, it looks like they carry a few of the pigtail connectors for different sensors.
