fuel line relocate
I want to relocate my fuel lines (supply and return) from the driver side to the passenger side. Carbed motor, 3 way regulator, external electric pump mounted by the tank. Where is the best place to crossover? Use the hard lines then go to braided in the engine compartment? The motor and tranny are pulled so now is the time to do it right. Looking for suggestions.

The factory took them over the transmission via a stud-mounted clip in the transmission tunnel. I always thought that was a poor choice because it subjects the fuel line to a lot of heat.
I took mine from the driver's side frame rail down to the front crossmember over to the mechanical fuel pump. Since you don't have a mechanical fuel pump, the easiest thing would be to mount the reg on the driver's side and use braided line directly to the carb. That may or may not be a direct path, depending upon which carb you're going to use.

My carb choice is a passenger side fuel inlet. This is the primary reason for moving the lines. I don't like running the line from the fender (more or less) over the headers, around the carb and to the inlet. Much cleaner to come up the correct side, reg on firewall, line to carb. I could put the reg on the firewall, driver side and run braided onlong the firewall and in from there. Not sure if this is NHRA legal or not.

best thing to do would be find an older f-body in a yard and rob offall you would need from the tank to the engine. that will probably give you the cleanest look. I used the lines off an 85 Z to plumb up a TPI engine into an 85 K5 Blazer. it just makes it easier when every thing is already bent. (tho for the Blazer swap I had to UN-bend some things). Plus I am good at finding parts cars that alwasy helps too
