Intake???

Some of you may have read my earlier posts about my 87 lt, when I got the car it didnt run the guy told me it was a bad carb blah blah blah, well anyway the guy gave me a holly to put on it and a old offy intake as well, I figured I would just buy the spacer and bolt the carb to the cc'd carb intake to get it running, so I bolted the carb up got a non cc controlled hei dizzy and once I got the timing set were it was supposed to be (would love to know who tried to set it up before me) got the car running and to my suprise it is a strong running car tranny is a little weak but I am not worried about it at the present just want to get everything situated and get it on the road and then I will pick up a new tranny for it, anyways my question now is what do you guys think about this intake situation I am now finding myself debating on putting this intake on the car, it is a non egr intake which really does not matter either way to me cause most of the emisions was missing anyway just wondering what you guys think about running the original intake with a spacer or swap em out and run the offy intake, now I know what some of you are thinking just get the edlebrock and swap and all that but like I said the car is running fine now im just thinking I have this aluminum intake sitting on the shelf in the garage doing nothing and I figure it is better than the stock one, I am not looking to buy a new one just wanted some input on the stock one vs this offy.

thanks ahead of time.

Punctuation is your friend, don't be afraid of it.

It would depend on which Offenhauser intake you've got.
