New intake and heads?
Hey, I have a 305 LG4, it was rebuilt 2 summers ago all stock and put in my 85 TA. I know I could be pushing about 300hp with new heads, intake and cam (Exhaust is already replaced with dynomax). My budget is about $1,200 CAD ($1,013.49 USD). I was wondering with the modifications mentioned, what would be the best bang for my buck?

Work over the stock heads - have them machined for 1.94" intake valves, port them (at least the "bowl work" or valve "pocket porting", as it's also called), have the guides cut down for positive-sealing type stem seals, install Comp 981 springs and new retainers (eliminate those exhaust rotators), either pin the rocker studs or have them machined for screw-in type.
Comp XE268 cam. Or XE274 if you want to go a little wilder.
Edelbrock Performer RPM spreadbore intake.
That should pretty much use up your budget and get you well over 300 gross flywheel HP.
