Edelbrock 600 Linkage Problem??

Edelbrock 600 Linkage Problem??

Howdy When I pull the trottle linkage all the way back are the secondaries supposed to open wide?? Mine dont.. does any one have a good picture what the linkage is supposed to look like..I bought the carb used maybe I,m missing somethig

it isnt suppose to open in park when you rev it have you drove it at all if so they should open when you drive it.

The secondaries won't open while the choke is closed.

if you just crack the throttle wide open in your drive way the front two barrels are the only ones that should open the secondaries will only open under a load such as driving down the road so the only way to test it is to be driving and if they dont open when you driving your car will quit pulling at around 2000 to 2500 rpm

The secondary throttle blades on an Edelbrock carb are mechanically actuated. They will open when the throttle is blipped past about 2/3 open. The secondary air valve above them may not.

Well if hes looking down he wont see the blades open the air valve will still be closed i just totally forgot about them being mecanical havent been around one for a while
