holley mech 750 dp hesitates when hard throttle
I have a 383 stroker and me and my friend have been trying to tune it with timing and adjusting fronts and rears but we still have that bluuhh when you crack the throttle but once you get past the initial studder it pulls like crazy it also goes good when u ease into the throttle. So i guess im wondering if i need to rejet the carb cuz its stock from summit i have people saying its not getting enough but some think its getting too much. I need some pointers where to go from here. thanx Nick

That's accelerator pump tuning, not jetting.
If it happens when you suddenly open it to around half throttle, then it's at least primary accelerator pump. If it only happens when you floor it, it's probably the secondary accelerator pump - but could need both.

if you're local to me in IL bring it by and I'll tune it for you. Also, might need a lot more stall since that's not listed in your sig. Just checked your profile and a 2300 stall is NOT going to cut it, switch over to a 3400-3800 stall and it'll wake the motor up a lot more and not lug it at low rpms. I'm running a 3600 10" tci in mine that hit 4000 on the flash with my old rear end and tight gears, now that i'm running 4.11 gears I don't know what it'll stall at, but either way you're way understalled and could be the reason for the bog.
