85 camero q-jet trouble code problem

85 camero q-jet trouble code problem

Its a fresh rebuild with 20,000 miles.Check engine light flashes the car chugs somes but when light goes out it runs strong.no codes come across at all nothing.anyone know why this things running like **** im new to a carb sytem cause i have the tbi unit in my truck.

So, you've checked for trouble codes using the ALDL, and get nothing. How are you checking for codes?

You could have an ECM problem such as poor ground, or an internal shorting or power opening. Check grounds first.

thanks for repling i bought the actron code scanner from advanced auto.where are these grounds and how many are there.my first camero and its alot diffrent from my tbi 350
