unplug wiring solves problem?

i was having a boging problem with my carb when i tryed to accelerate. So i figured i would take an hour or two to mess around with it and first thing i tryed was unpluging the wiring and sure enough i started it up punched it and the problem was gone. Can anyone explain this and is it safe to just keep wiring off and continue use of the car?

Re: unplug wiring solves problem?

You have to let us know what carburetor and motor you have, as well as what wiring you are talking about. On some applications, wiring can either mean you unplugged the headlights, or you unplugged your TPS sensor. Please be more specific if you want a response to your problem.

It doesn't mean you've solved any problems, just masked them with new ones.
