Re: need help with fuel lines

That setup is fine.
Is the regulator a return style? If not it will run hotter thus reducing the life of the pump but it will function fine.

Re: need help with fuel lines

Assuming the LG4 carb you had before utilized a mechanical pump then you will not have to drop the fuel tank.

You do not "really" have to cut any lines.

You have a return line and a supply line. Route an SS braided line from the supply to the supply port on the pump.
Route the feed port from the pump to the regulator.
Route the return port from the regulator to the hard return line.
Route the supply port from the regulator to the carb.

SS braided line is the way to go. It is simple to do and makes a clean reliable and very good looking setup.
