profesional tuning kit? is it enough
i am looking to pick up a carb for my new engine... plan on installing it the 3rd week in july so time is of the essence...
350 with vortec heads flat top +7cc pistons XE274-10
and a very nervous T-5
so i figured i would go with a 750 classic DP now i am also looking to pick up enough extras that i wont have to be hunting for jets and what not... jegs has a holley double pumper proffesional tuning kit
http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...43706_-1_10285
do you think that would have a wide enough assortment of stuff that i wouldnt need to go buy anything else...
one other question... what the hell is a dashpot... and how does it function

Re: profesional tuning kit? is it enough
No, that one doesn't have what you need.... note the power valves for example, they're all the SUPER LOW vacuum ones. None of them are good for the street.
This is the one you want. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...HLY%2D37%2D933 except that none of the "kits" comes with the right PVs; you'll have to get those separately. Looking at your motor specs I'd guess you'll end up with about a 85 or 95 PV, so have those on hand.
See the LONG post about "tuning my Holley" on this board, I describe in detail how to get a Holley tuned properly for the street.
