Q-Jet Rebuild Kit

I have a 1987 Formula with the LG-4. It has the E4ME Rochester Quadra Jet carb. The code I found on it was 17072974. I looked it up on autozone.com and they did not list that code. They did list a bunch of other numbers. I also looked at advanced auto.com and they did not list the code either. Does anyone have a part number for the kit I need to rebuild this carb?

Thank you.

Re: Q-Jet Rebuild Kit

That's not the carb number. Looks like the casting # from some one of the castings.

The number you need should be stamped on the fuel bowl, running vertically up the casting, where it makes a sort of boss for a screw, just above the secondary throttle shaft on the driver's side. It will start out 1708. It'll be something like 17087201.

Thank you. It is a 17087306. That was a stamping number I had originally. I went to the local parts store and they had the rebuild kit I needed. Thanks for the help.
