Holley Ultra HP 750
got a quick question. I know that this is a mech. secondary carb pretty much set up for race, anyone run them on the street? and also are they essentially DP's or are they regular 750cfm carbs? i happened to grab a brand new one up for only $450 and they are $1000 new so i jumped on it. Thanks

I'm pretty sure it is basically a chokeless race version DP carb. Since you can buy a kit to convert a DP carb to a 4150 chokeless hp carb I'm pretty sure thats all it is.

It's the chokeless high-quality version with replaceable air bleeds. What's really sweet is it has a billet base plate, AND billet metering blocks with replaceable idle & PV restrictors and emulsion jets. Very tunable. Also has bowl sight glass instead of plugs - about time. 4-corner idle, looks like you can do 1:1 linkage if you like.
I think they're trying to keep up with the Proform and Quick Fuel "aftermarket" innovations. Free enterprise at work. Gotta love it.
