Car: 1986 caged out firebird
Engine: 454 = wheelies
Transmission: th400 stall and trans brake
Axle/Gears: 4:11 ford 9" with ladder bars
what size carb for this setup
ok i am building a 454 i would just like the estimated the size of carb I need for my engine here are the specs the engine is bored .060 over and the pistons are kb 25.5 dome pistons with a compression ratio of 11.1 to 1 the heads are a ported ovel port head ad the cam is a .560 / .573 lift and 240 int./246 exh. at .050 and a 112 Lobe Separation plus i have 1.8 roller rockers the intake is a weind intake good from 1500 rpm to 6500 rpm so it matches the cam also have hooker long tube headers

A 850 cfm at minimum. A 950cfm carb is not too big.
Comp cams CB-280S-10 #12-551-5 a better cam. it a mechanical grind.

well i already have all the parts including the cam so i am going to stick with the one i got.
