car dies in reverse... carb related???
when i start my car it idles fine in neutral with some throttle every now and then, but when i go to back out of my garage it dies. if it is up to operating temperature it seems fine, which would lead me to wonder if it is a problem relating to open/closed loop.
i posted this question in tech after seaching and the more i thought about it, the more it seemed carb related.
the car also runs really rich if that helps, and i am going to attempt to tune it when the college semester ends and after exams. if you have any tips, please dont hesitate to let me know. it is a holley 650 double pumper on a 350 with mods in sig.

This has been sitting for 2 weeks without response.
I seriously doubt this is a carb issue. Much more likely a loose or poorly contacting, even possibly shorting, ignition wire. Outside chance that you've got a broken transmission mount and putting it into reverse moves the ignition wire in a manner that kills the spark.
Assuming you haven't figured it out yet. . .

actually you were dead on, and i finished it yesterday before i read this post. the wires in my distributer were bare and shorting out, so i rewired the whole thing and it works great now. thanks for responding though. so for $2 in wire i basically have a new distributer! lol.
