Carb Swap and new Intake

I've got a 90' camaro RS with a 350 from an 88gm truck.
im sure this is already explained somewhere so could someone link me to a TBI to carb swap?
im new to carb so what would be a good performance carb i was told to aim around a holley 650?
and what Intake would work best with that? (none vortec)

Thanks guys

A 650 would be a reasonable choice. So would a non-computer q-jet. Do you have any upgrade plans for the 350?

Like the linked tech article says, Performer or Performer RPM. If you keep the truck heads and don't have big performance plans, a Performer in the '87-up configuration would bolt right on and work well. The Performer RPM isn't available in '87-up config, and probably wouldn't do you any good as long as you have the truck heads on, anyway.

Weiand & Holley make equivalent intakes to the Performer. You might be able to find a ZZ4 take-off manifold on eBay, craigslist, racingjunk, etc, for less than a new intake. But, it wouldn't have the '87-up bolt pattern. Not a biggie, just elongate the center two mount bolts on each side so the bolts will line up with the bolt holes in the heads. But, getting an '87-up manifold would be a lot easier.

I plan on slowly building this car up to high performance. soon ill have a dayly driver and will be able to get to things like the heads, cam, ect.. for now though i think im just going to switch to carb, and new intake. the higher the performance the better.. it will just take a good amount of time for me to finish it haha
