I need some help... i bought a 1986 firebird and trying to put a 1405 edlbrock on in place of a mech. quad jet and have no idea how to get the kickdown cable to hook up to it and work right. idk if theres a bracket / linkage that edelbrock makes for this.

does that brcket hook to the linkage on the carb then tv cabel hook right to that bracket????? right now there isnt anywhere for the cable to hook up to on the 1405 carb???

 

yes the bracket mounts to the carb itself and has a stud on it for the tv cable
