Can anyone tell me wherethe thin plastic pipe, that I identified as having to do with something called EFE, connects? To the carb, manifold or what? I have an lg4.

 

Eh...might be EGR, connects to the passengerside manifold.

 

You good? Or still got a question? If you're still in 'I don't know land' you may have to post a photo. Thin plastic vacuum line is used at the EGR valve and the Vac sensor. EFE uses normal vacuum line to a thin metal vacuum line to the valve.

 

Identified itm as EFE valve, positioned where manifold and exhaust connect. BVut where should the hose from it connect? Carb, intake?

 

Hose should connect to the thermal vacuum switch (tvs) on the intake water neck then to a vacuum port on the carb base. It may be connected to the carb base through a tee to the smog pump vacuum line.
