Over the winter i put a 2104 edelbrock intake and a 1406 rebuilt carb on my 305. The carb is making a screeching noise. Runs fine with no probs with my stock q-jet. But i wanted to replace the carb because beacuse it gave me problems last fall, and i got this one on a good deal. Anyone have any idea on what might be causing the noise, i have only the stock gasket between the carb and intake, but i didnt think that would cause it. Im going to order a new heat spacer anyway, but i just wanted to see if anyone had an idea on what could cause it. Thanks for any info
