how do you identify a holley carb
a buddy of mine wants to sell his on ebay but we know nothing about them
personally I dont want to know
its not that I am calling them junk its just that I love quadrajets
its kind of like the fact that I do not like fords or mopar
not because I think they are junk I dont want to take the time to learn another brand

On the front of the choke tower there will be a "LIST" number stamped. Get that, it tells you what the carb is.
