What else do I need?

Hey guys I just got a Holley 600 carb for my non-computer controlled 350 and I was wondering what all I will need to install it. All that came with the carb was the gasket. Is there anything else I will need to get to hook it all up? The original motor had a qjet in it and I still have all the parts from it. Can I just use the parts from the qjet or do I need to get different parts?

The carb won't mount to a stock intake manifold, so you'll need an aftermarket intake manifold, or a spreadbore to squarebore adapter (the adapter adds height and an extra gasket).

You will need a throttle arm stud to mount the throttle cable. The q-jet stud is a rivet.

If you have a TH700R-4 transmission, you will need a throttle valve cable geometry corrector bracket.

If your Holley is a dual inlet type, your stock air cleaner won't fit over the fuel bowls.

Hey I found out about that geometry bracket, but it doesnt have a mounting place for another cable. This other cable I'm talking about has a long slotted end and it runs to a circular thing at the front of the car by the headlight and the "Rochester Products Carb Tank." What is that cable and do I need it?

Sounds like the cruise control cable.

well do I need to hook that up because the bracket that Im getting doesnt have a place for it and my steering wheel doesnt have a cruise control button anyway.
