More qjet carb problems

Ok so I got my TPS working real good. .48v at Idle and opens up to 4v at WOT.

I cant figure out for the life of me what is causing a bog at WOT. It bogs like its drowning in fuel but if I back it off just a little it starts hauling *** (for what it is). It seems almost like when I floor it its no longer advancing the time and just starts bogging down. I even tried turning the TPS in a turn and out a turn thinking it was reaching max too soon but same thing.

What the hell would cause something like this?

Btw ignition is all brand new MSD, so I know thats not the source. The TPS is new and the carb does appear to have been previously screwed with.

I forgot to mention that it doesnt just bog at first. It continues to until I take my foot off a little. Its not like its bogging for a second then it gets up and goes.

Sounds like a classic symptom of the secondary air valve opening too soon. Have you tried adjusting it?

Yes I tried adjusting it but it doesnt just bog then pick up. It will continue bogging if I keep my foot to the floor. Back off a tiny bit and the car comes alive.

I think theres something wrong with my secondary metering rods and they are opening too much letting way to much gas in at wot. I'm gonna rebuild the entire carb.

Make sure one of the rods hasn't fallen compltely off the hanger and down into the jet (sealing it off almost completely).

Even if you take the rods out completely it won't cause a "forever bog". Eventually it'll pull out of the full-rich bog, the air valve will get fully open and use the full flow of the jet. Yes, it'll still be rich, but it won't be a never ending bog.
