fuel filter ?'s

mechanical fuel pump system

If you use a fuel filter after the tank, before the pump, do you still need a filter after the pump, between the pump and the regulator?

Re: fuel filter ?'s

Have to? Probably not would i use one? Yes.

Sumped tank here with external fuel pump but i use 2 one from the tank to pump then one in between pump and carb.

Looking at a lot of older cars with mechanical pumps i normally see some kind of glass filter in the engine bay.
