Carb issue?
Carb issue?
I bought an 85 Z with the L69 in it. No carb. Car has been sitting a long time. I got the correct carb put on and it did start but smoked like crazy. Smelled like a cigar kind of.
Ok, first question, will old gas smell and smoke me out of the garage? It wasn't an oil smell or a white smoke like water.
Second question, what color is the choke wire?

Yes, old gas will smell and smoke. It's not a good thing to run through the engine.
The choke wire is blueish.
