predator carb
well i did a quick search on tgo, and didnt see anything about it. this is a question for the drag racers on here.
has anyone ran a predator carb on there built race engines?? here is a link to a sight that rebuilds them and sells them. personally i think they look pretty wicked. i have done a little reading on them and hear mixed feelings. mostly fanboyism. currently im running a holley 850 dbl pmp. this caught my eye cause it a venturi design from around 300 to 900 cfm, and doesnt over/under carb your engine.

Re: predator carb
I remember seeing only one user who used one years ago. One of the biggest problems with them is the height. They also have problems metering cruise mixtures, so don't expect good mileage out of one.
A vacuum secondary like a VS Holley or demand secondary carb like a Quadrajet also has "variable CFM" and doesn't over or under carburate.

Re: predator carb
i think it will fit under that hood, and with my cam, cruising is pretty much a joke. i get about 7mpgs if im lucky now, as for a vs holley or q jet, i dont think those routes are an option. i donno, maybe ill try one out. thanks for the reply.
