Hello,
I 'm am a new member and I would like to ask a question about the vapor return line on a 1983 Camaro with a manual fuel pump. I would like to install a more GPH fuel pump but most after markets that I have seen do not have the vapor return line hook up. Can that line be removed and blocked off? I wanted to avoid installing a eletric fuel pump as the car is completed.
Has anyone else ran into this and if so what did you do.
Please let me know.
Thanks

Welcome aboard thirdgen.org.
It's not a vapor return line, it's a liquid return line. Helps reduce the potential for vapor lock by keeping fuel moving in the supply line.
Look at the Carter M6626. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku (ignore the picture - it has the same fittings as the stock pump) It's what I'm running, supplies my somewhat healthy 350 with ease.
