cc swap'd carb
ok guys, I got an 86 t/a 305 (lg4)
It does not have the orginal carb. I have an edelbrock. My question is how can I bypass the ccc?
I dont want the carb computer controlled.
How would I go about doing this.
Is it just a standard carb swap or is there more to it?

Re: cc swap'd carb
remove the carb, replace with a non-cc carb, replace dist with a vaccum advance dist, hide wires so you can put back to stock later if you want.

If it's an Edelbrock carb, it already isn't computer controlled.
If you have the original computer controlled distributor, you need to replace it with a distributor with vacuum and mechanical advance.
