Problem with Edelbrock 1407

Alright I got this carb from a buddy of mine, when I installed it on my 91 RS it was doing alright just getting too much air.
So I gave it to another buddy of mine to tune it for me.
I cant get anything out of him on what he did. Just that he might have gone the wrong way with the jets.. said he was using the 50-50-90 rule cuz its my car he knows not a lot about vs his race car I guess

But right now it stalls out in 1st gear when im coming to a stop, I have to put it in N to keep the car from dieing, and when im slowing down for stop signs or for a turn it wants to die...

When its parked its fine, and when its in neutral its fine..
But doesnt matter if I go in reverse, or in 1st gear it wants to die on me...
Trying to tune it tonight but I dont know what to do, its torn apart on my table and i dont know what im doing since I dont know what he did...

Any ideas??

Re: Problem with Edelbrock 1407

Reinstall the stock jetting and metering rods and reset the float height and float drop. This and the fuel pressure is critical on these carbs. Download and follow the instructions on how to do this.
