vacuum

Just switched from efi to carb... what should I expect on the vacuum gauge when at idle? I'm just trying to make sure I dont have any vacuum leaks, and I'd like to know what amount of vacuum is normal- edelbrock intake on a 305, holley 4165 carb.

it should be steady, stock set up is supposed to come in at 15 @ 2,000 rpm. what is your's reading?

well, I'm showing about 17.5 inches Hg at idle (~800rpm), does that sound about right?

maybe a bit high but then so is idle
