Fuel problems
I converted from tbi to carb on my 92 rs. I am still using the factory pump and using a mallory fpr. My problem is that when I went to adjust the pressure on the fpr, before I could get a good reading to where the pressure is sitting, fuel began coming out of the vent tubes of the carb.
I haven't started the car, the carb is a holley street avenger 670 (used ... hopefully the problem), and the pump is still the stock unit.
Any suggestions.
Thanks
Mike

You either had too much pressure for the floats to shut off the flow, or the needle/seats are not closing properly for one reason or another.

Re: Fuel problems
I think part of it was the floats were stuck. I also pulled out the float adjuments pins and taped on the blowls. Now I was able to build pressure but only to about 3 lbs. I don't think it is a problem though my return line is leaking along with another fitting. Once I get them fixed I should be ok.
Thanks
Thanks
