CC Q rebuild feature in CarCraft
Just got the Aug. '09 issue, found a short article on them covering Sean Murphy redoing the QJ from '85 Monte L69. SMI shared a couple of "secrets".

Re: CC Q rebuild feature in CarCraft
I found it interesting that in the article they recommended SMI as a ccc-qjet rebuilder yet later in the 'What's your problem?" tech section they recommend Jet Performance for the ccc-qjet. Both by Jeff Smith. Can't make up his mind I reckon.
Overall it was pretty weak.

Re: CC Q rebuild feature in CarCraft
I just picked up the magazine myself.
They mentioned drilling the main air bleeds I believe, and the choke pulloff. They didn't get into the specifics on HOW you do it, since it's not just a matter of pulling out your drill... More magazine crap showing a shiny picture and vaguely describing a modification for more power - just enough info to get you in trouble, or phoning a pro to do it for you.... yay for Car Craft....
Pick up the book by Doug Roe if you want the real info...
